About us
The WES Schools & ECE team can provide a range of workshops and support for early childhood education centres that want to educate young children about the value of reducing waste and conserving our rersources.
Particularly effective for young children are workshops in:
- Worm farming, EM Bokashi and composting
- Rubbish free lunches
- Looking at what we throw away
- 'Rescuing' waste from landfill
The WES programme for Early Childhood Education is a free programme funded by the Nelson City and Tasman District Councils, through the Nelson Environment Centre (NEC).
