An electronic waste (ewaste) recycling service (e-Cycle) is now available at the Nelson ReUse & Recycle Centre everyday. Items that can be recycled include: TVs; PCs; laptops; CRT monitors; network equipment; printers; photocopiers; microwaves; stereos; radios and a range of other appliances. For a full list of items that can be recycled check out the e-Cycle website or contact the Nelson ReUse & Recycle Centre. A small charge is made when dropping off items to cover the cost of handling, processing and freight. All ewaste taken through the scheme is reused or recycled – nothing goes to landfill.
