This resource provides ideas and activities to help you and your students explore the wonders of the natural world and guide you towards a sustainable future. It is aligned with Te Whāriki, the early childhood curriculum and was developed by Nelson City Council.
For ECES in Nelson, Small Planet is a facilitated programme, and is designed to be a first step towards becoming an enviroschool. For ECEs who wish to enroll in Small Planet, a facilitator and a full resource pack are provided, including a set of posters to mark milestones, and a copy of OURS DVD.
